Tray Walker, 23 year-old Baltimore Ravens cornerback, was killed in a dirt bike accident last week in Miami, Florida. The accident happened shortly before 8pm on Thursday, March 17, and Walker died at approximately 5pm on Friday, March 18. According to the Miami-Dade Police Department, Walker suffered a serious head injury when the dirt bike he was riding collided with an SUV at an intersection. He was transferred to Jackson Memorial Hospital where he underwent surgery for his injuries. Police investigating the deadly bike accident said that Walker’s bike had no lights, and he was wearing dark clothing when the crash occurred. Police also said that Walker was not wearing a helmet. NFL Commissioner Roger Goodell offered his condolences to Walker’s family, friends and teammates in a statement made on behalf of the NFL.
