SEO Company: New Jersey’s Most Dangerous Roads for Pedestrians

South Jersey is home to two of the state’s deadliest roads for pedestrians.  Nine pedestrians were struck and killed on Route 130 between 2011 and 2013, making it the most dangerous road for pedestrians in New Jersey.  Seven of these fatal pedestrian accidents occurred on a stretch of the road between Cinnaminson and Willingboro.  Route 30 in Camden County saw eight pedestrian fatalities between 2011 and 2013, making it the second most deadly highway in New Jersey for pedestrians.

New Jersey police say that poor lighting and a lack of sidewalks and foot traffic signals increase the risk accidents for people walking along these roads.  Officials in Cinnaminson are pushing for more sidewalks along Route 130, and safety experts are lobbying for brighter street lighting.  Police also say that pedestrian error is responsible for many accidents on both roads.
