Concern about this issue stems from last week’s Camden County Superior Judge ruling which stated that divorced parents must pay out of state tuition expenses for their child. Brown asserts that this law would allow the divorced parents to refuse to pay for a child’s college tuition. Assemblyman Brown states that he plans to introduce this legislation at some point over the next three weeks.
