Pennsylvania State Senator Pat Browne is recuperating in the hospital after suffering severe injuries in a motorcycle accident over the weekend. The circumstances of the accident are being investigated as a possible case of driving under the influence (DUI); however, no charges have been filed yet. Browne’s license has been suspended twice in the past for drunk driving crashes. One of the Republican Senator’s top aides said Monday that Browne is suffering from a punctured lung, fractured ribs, and a broken foot as a result of his motorcycle accident last weekend. The crashed occurred Saturday afternoon in Allentown, Pennsylvania.
