Children and parent chaperones in Utah had a frightening scare on the way to a school field trip. Their bus driver was arrested and is facing DUI charges after swerving and nearly causing a bus accident. The 39 year-old female bus driver appeared to be impaired from taking prescription muscle-relaxer medication that police found in her possession.
The bus was traveling on I-15 in Draper, Utah. The bus’ passengers included 67 grade school students and seven chaperoning adults. Thankfully in this case, a drunk driving accident did not occur and no one was injured.
