A public transportation strike may be imminent in the near future. If SEPTA strikes, thousands of commuters and residents will be impacted by the city’s subways, buses and trolleys shutting down. The strike affects 5,000 SEPTA employees who are still negotiating the terms of their contract which expired in the spring.
